Nameko (Pholiota nameko) is a delicious edible that is widely cultivated on sawdust and logs. Nameko logs prefer to be buried horizontally in the ground with just the top of the log showing. Fruiting temperatures 55-65°F. See our Log Burying Techniques page for more information.
